Hayley Loewen is the creator and owner of I Am Blessed Mala Beads who makes mala bead necklaces with real gemstones from the earth, each with their own unique healing energies. Her malas also come with lava beads, to be used for essential oils and is handmade with positive intention and cleansed with a sage ceremony.
Leah Burns decided a few years ago to radically change her career path & is now offering workshops & sharing different modalities to assist others to find true joy and purpose in their lives. After a second-trimester miscarriage, walking through grief and pain lead Stephanie Kennedy to a deep knowing that she needed to use her life experiences to help others. She received her diploma in Professional Counselling with a specialization in Sexual Abuse Counselling from The Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. Stephanie opened her private practice at The Blending Bar in 2019 providing a client-centred approach to counselling that is mindful and heart-based, with principles including Adlerian, Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT), and Gestault.
Speaking from a heart touched by grief and held by hope, Alan Anderson loves to write and speak about the deep things in the midst of life’s messiness. His writing and workshops reflect his 40 years of coming alongside people who are hurting as well as personal experiences. Alan is a co-author in Good Grief People, available at The Blending Bar.
Andrea Bath calls herself a “wellness junkie” because of her fascination with all things holistic; Andrea has studied yoga, holistic nutrition, energy healing and has spent many hours emerged in personal development and manifestation learnings. Her passion lies in weaving aspects from all these modalities together along with her intuitive senses to create spaces for everyone to heal and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Andrea teaches yoga and provides private sessions at The Bar.
Erika Prest Whitson is a local artisan from Maple Ridge, who owns the company and is the creative force behind Made from the Heart Aromatherapy Lava Bracelets. Each bracelet is truly a unique work of art. Special orders and sizing are also available.
Linda Reedman is the talented Potter who makes our gorgeous Aromatherapy Diffusers and Clay Foot Exfoliators. She also handmade the tea-mugs for The Bar- plus some that are now for sale...and is Amy's Mum! Linda has a Fall and a Spring Pottery event in Harrison Mills. See her latest work at Pottery by Linda.
