I have dedicated the last two decades to studying and practicing natural wellness to learn to navigate the muddy waters of anxiety and depression. I do this work to share with others who may be struggling what resources, insight, and support have perhaps saved my life. Learn more about me here.

Self-Care Modalities

The following modalities are some of my favourite tools that may be integrated in to your session. If there are any specific modalities you would like to explore in our time together, please let us know when booking your appointment.

Mindfulness | Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. When we set aside our expectations, "shoulds" and "to do’s" to fully experience this present moment, the silence allows us to hear the messages of our heart. Curiosity about what we are experiencing provides clarity whereas why invites the mind to tell a story that separates of from being in the present moment.

Aromatherapy | I may recommend supplementary essential oils or aromatherapy products to support you with your wellness and living with more ease and comfort.

EFT Tapping | EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an exercise where we tap on acupressure points while addressing painful thoughts. This exercise can create a powerful sense of calm and ease, and can significantly reduce the intensity of pain, anxiety, or stress.

The Work of Byron Katie | The principles of The Work of Byron Katie are based on a simple and powerful process of writing down stressful thoughts and questioning if they are true. Every time we inquire about the truth of our thoughts, we invoke an opportunity to wake up to reality. "When we believe our stressful thoughts, we suffer. Gentle Yoga + TRE | The principles of Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga along with TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) are infused to provide gentle, personalized stretches and movements to assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma, while calming the nervous system.
