In this workshop, Val will explain the very important role that fat plays in a healthy diet. We will talk about everything you have heard about fats, and uncover the truths about:
- Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and more cooking oils
- Cholesterol, Saturated Fats and Heart Disease
- Fats found in Processed Foods
- Omega 3’s and Omega 6’s and when you need to supplement these
- Trending diets, such as the Ketogenic Diet and Intermittent Fasting
The workshop includes a handout with recipes and a tasty snack that includes a healthy fat. Guests may wish to bring a notebook and pen.
