Where are Your Oils Sourced From?

Most of our essential oils are wildcrafted or organic; however, they are not always certified as such. 

This is because we source oils from several small communities and farms where they simply don’t have the resources in place, primarily financing, to obtain the organic certification. 

While large companies may be able to purchase vast tracts of land to farm their own plants and get organic certification, wild-grown plants tend to have more therapeutic qualities. Plants grown in their natural environment and next to local plants actually grow better and have more therapeutic qualities.

When sourcing essential oils of superior quality, I prefer to support smaller companies.

What are the Therapeutic Benefits of Your Products? Are They Considered Natural Health Products? (NHP)

Due to therapeutic claim regulations, we can’t list the therapeutic benefits of the essential oils in a product without having government approval for each claim. Not only is this a costly and time-consuming process, it would lead people to believe that there is one blend that would treat one symptom; and essential oils are far more complex than that. 

As a Certified Aromatherapist, I specialize in consulting with clients to recommend specific essential oil applications and formulas for them specifically. I get excited and am happy to answer questions and make  recommendations so please contact us anytime or dive in with a in-depth aromatherapy consultation. We blend for you- not your symptoms.

In June 2020, we made the decision to transition from a brick and mortar shop to an online store, giving us the opportunity to extend our reach across Canada and reach more deeply into the community than a single location has allowed for.
